Paypal or e-gold

Are you a paypal user or E-gold user?Why do you use it? What do you think is its advantage over the other?

I use paypal. I would want to try e-gold but I don't really know much about it yet.

Not sure why you want to use e-gold. Paypal and e-gold cannot be compared with each other. e-gold is more popular among those who run Casino, online poker, porn sites or hype web business.

Paypal is complete different and paypal is one of the most trusted online payment gateway.

I use e-gold as paypal is not very much used here in the Philippines and e-gold is much more used and very easy to use. I also buy and sell e-gold thats why I like using it. I earn through buying and selling e-gold. I just charge a minimal fee.

E-gold and Paypal are the two most important options for e-currency.They cannot be compared with each other as they both have their own advantages as well as disadvantages. IMO, Paypal is much better than e-gold in all regards.

why do you say so? As I have no experience using paypal yet.

Yep. PayPal and e-gold should not be compared as I can list out many scammers who have misused e-gold and many people have lost their e-gold account when they had huge balance in their account.

e-gold is good for those who have no other options but never deal in big amounts using e-gold if you are genuine business. I don't trust any online gateway that needs no Identity proof from its subscribers.

For me egold can not meet my purpose as the business model of egold is based on selling metal & you need to use a 3rd party service for exchange. For instance I may trust on egold but how I can trust on a 3rd party services for cash out?

Yeah. If you know anyone who has high funds in e-gold and got there account blocked and they cant get there funds out I might help them. I will offer my service for free. But if they give me something I would really appreciate it.

anyway I have hundreds of legit web hosting customers from countries where Paypal is not allowed. And I lose average 500 bucks a month from Paypal due to hackers have ripped off someones paypal account.

JUst right this moment I got an order $90 one year hosting, paypal verified, I know that in afew days the rightful owner of the account will come along and ask for a refund.

At least when someone pays through e-gold I get paid, and no matter what happens the moeny is mine.

I will go with paypal as I dont have any other option available right now. Paypal is sending check to India so I am using paypal. Now I am planning to for xoom but dont know more about it.

I use both Paypal and egold. I find Paypal's polciy pro consumer. egold tends to lean more towards merchants because of it not chargeback policy. Your transaction with egold is good as final.

it is a pity e-gold is going through this problems, I think Bush is turning US in a police state.
