Wokingham.webhosting.uk.com Hard Disk Issue

The server wokingham.webhosting.uk.com (109.75.171.200) has some disk issues and its affecting the disk read/write speed. Due to this the load on the server is rising rapidly. Its affecting the website performance and other services running on the server. We suspect the problem is with the hardware raid controller or the disk cables but we are not 100% sure about this. In order to find out the exact cause and troubleshoot the issue we will have to take the server offline for a while. We will keep you updated about the progress of this issue through this thread.

We have rebooted the server and swapped the hard disk cables. The server is back online and running smoothly. If in case anyone is still having any problem with their website please get in touch with our Support team.

While investigation, we found that cause of load on the server is faulty HDD controller. Server (wokingham.webhosting.uk.com) has shutdown to replace RAID controller. It will take 30 minutes. We will keep you update here.

Server (wokingham.webhosting.uk.com) is back and load is normal.
We will continue to monitor the server for the next couple of days.
