Unhappy 'Connection Refused' trying to acces email from home IP

Hello,
I have been unable to connect to any of my email boxes from my home IP since returning home last wednesday after being away for a week.
It worked fine when I left, and I can still access my webspace and control panel fine.
I just get a 'connection refused' when trying to connect to the IMAP server.
I am still able to connect via IMAP to my mailboxes from other locations, in this case it means my access is limited to my cell phone!
I left a support ticket on Thursday morning. from which I have still received no response.
My home line has a static IP, which contains the quartets 87.81.xxx.31 ... Third Quad removed, because I am a paranoid bitch

I feel like I must be cursed, my service breaks so often I want to stick pins in my eyes

Please let me know the ticket ID which you have opened for our support dept so that I'd be able to go through it and accordingly I'll update here.
