Default PHPmyadmin Interface

Hi

Is there a separate PHPmyadmin url to allow database users to access the databases without allowing access to the main control panel?

Uusally it is possible to set up technical contacts in the control panel and then to allow the technical contacts access to the database via their own Technical Contact control panel, but there are no such options in the WebHosting UK panel.

Hello,

There is no separate control panel to access only phpmyadmin. You will have to access either WHM or cPanel to access phpmyadmin. We have enabled remote mysql on the server so You can use anyone third party mysql client to access anyone database.

Make sure you will have to add your local network IP into Remote mysql from cPanel.

Regards,
Vasco S

If you can afford such applications, SQLYOG is a brilliant remote management tool. Definitely worth the investment.

You can also try the Free Edition of SQLyog as it is an easy to use tool that allows you to manage your MySQL database from a remote location.

You are right, SQLyog 8.4 Beta 1 Full Version is for $99.00 but I guess there are free editions as well which might have limited features to try the software.
