How to Find Good Deals on Web Hosting?

Just wanted to see how you find good deals on web hosting.

1. Search for Deals (Google, coupon & deal websites, etc).
2. Browse Offer sections on Hosting Forums.
3. Search for Deals for a Specific Host. (Company website, Company Forums/Blogs).
4. Others (please specify).

I posted other, I just try the host.

Unless you are going for a dedicated server or above, the hosting costs for a month for a more expensive service or 6 months/a year for a cheaper one are usually less that the cost of the time spent reading strangers' opinions.

The other option is ask support a difficult question and if they don't reply then I worry, this may be easier if you are going for a VPS/Dedicated server than with a basic hosting service.

When it comes for Good Deals on Web Hosting we need to take utmost care else you may get an invoice for package renewal many times more then what we had paid

I usually search webhosting forums like webhostingtalk, freewebspace, DP and other to see if there's any good deal offered by any webhost and do check about their reliability.
Server uptime and easy to approach support are the main concern for me while choosing any webhost.

Yes, those are some of the very popular web hosting forums where hosting companies post their hosting offers. It is always easy to find deals once you have your requirements and have narrowed it down to a few web hosts.

IMO, Search for the deals for a Specific Host on their forums/blog because most of the hosting company post the deals/offer in their forums/blogs. For example: Free Domain for LIFE with Shared and Reseller hosting

I usually do as Dan mentioned start googling various web hosting sites and then compare the features for the price. For the most part it works out for me
