I dont think this is good time for Apple to merge when Sun is making huge loss, also they both have different culture and different users, probably Apple have some plan to beat Dell. :eek:

Apple want in on the server market where Sun has still got a pretty strong presence. I won't hold my breath for the merger though.

According to Sun co-founder Bill Joy, Sun Microsystems tried to acquire Apple once and then almost merged with Apple on two other occasions, . What is more interesting both have charismatic CEO figures.
