Angry PC Problems please help ! :(

I'm having really strange PC problems... can anyone help me fix any of them?

a) For MSN when speaking to others, at random times I will receive "Windows has encountered a problem and must close down" Any unexpected moment, error where I can send error report or not.

This is the same for another instant messaging program called xfire, except this happens instantly when the application starts up.

b) At random moments when uploading a file to a server, it will say "Server unexpectedly closed" this happens everyday, when accessing FTP/HTTP websites.. at times it takes forever to load webpages.. and will eventually receive timeout problems.

If I reset my router & PC the connection will be fine, an hour later, it starts to slow down rapidly then eventually timeout.

c) When loadnig applications, at times it shows two of the same icon at the bottom right corner. Two of same application icon then when I hover over this it will disappear.

These problems have never happened before, I'm using AMD Dual Core X2, 1GB RAM.

d) It's a likely cause if something is loading like mad, with the cursor not showing just that loading sign, a message will say "An error has encountered" normal computers continues to load or freeze for sure, mine just gives up.

e) Right this day when launching games it says my video card is outdated, and to contact my issuer/manufacturer and gaming performance has actually decreased.

f) At times during burning discs it fails right at the end, sorry I ain't got the error message. This is with Nero though. 2/3 this problem accurs whether burning multisession or not.

g) When minizing windows, then when I click on the window at the bottom it won't popup, I'm falsed to switch-to via task manager.

h) My windows is fully activated and genuine, during the windows login screen it says I maybe a victim of windows, click here to resolve this problem or click here to resolve this later. If I click on click here nothing happens, just logs me in. I'm aware that my windows is fully activated & genuine. Saw the diagnostics and shows the information, I was able to update to windows player 11, checks through the validation process and validated fine.

Hmm, sounds like a memory leak. You will need to determine what process is using up all of your RAM / CPU.

Strange problems you have there. I too would check the ram, if you have more than one ram stick take them out and test each one on its own.

Strange windows problem also. I would run chkdsk from the command prompt, or chkdsk /f to auto fix as it goes along

I don't think it is the CPU/RAM, the game runs fine when less programs are open and CPU is currently at 8% and on mostly is on that.

The main problem I am facing is this error report. Every time now when I sign out of MSN it will constantly show this message, constantly when logging in Xfire it will show this error report.

During this time the CPU is still 8% nothing loads at that point.

Try contacting your manufacturers Customer Service (Unless it's Microsoft of course)

I get the same problem with WMP, so i use iTunes instead.

Yes, I would also suggest to uninstall the stuff you never use or very rarely use and throughly scan and reboot your PC.

In fact the PC is pretty fast, regardless of how many processors/applications is running or installed, it would still show error reports, and will show the same icon at the bottom right corner of the same application and if I hover over it, it will disappear.

At that time the PC was absoultely stable.
I think it must be the operating system, but I'm not risking doing a system recovery again as it might ask for activation or genuine package.

I didn't have IE installed apparently, solved the "Error reporting" issues...
Had to install IE.
