Default Decent cordless mouse and keyboard

I bought 3 wireless keyboard/mouse system from Argos which I must say it's disappointing as it's only used by batteries and the battery live is just a few hours.. depending how fast/how much you type and annoys the hell out f me when a keyboard can't take it when it's being pressed too fast for the transmitter to be received.

I'm looking to buy a decent cordless keyboard/mouse, maybe re-chargeable? Plug? Or at least live for 2 days...

Where is the best store, or website to shop online?

Thanks in advance

I have a Logitech MXsomething or other Laser mouse that is wireless and doesn't require a battery (it has a dock for recharging). It's a lovely bit of kit although quite expensive for a mouse. I'd recommend Logitech or Microsoft stuff as the quality is always high.

I have a Logitech G15 keyboard which is wired - Never had a problem

Although dependant on what DPI setting your mouse is set to the battery will just drain away such as a floating river. I have a revoltec mouse but it's wired - I never like to see the thought of wireless.

I'd disagree about the mouse. My mouse needs recharging about once every three days if I don't put it back in the cradle. My mouse at the office which is another Logitech wireless affair lasts for longer (probably because I use it less). As long as you go for quality there's no reason why you shouldn't have a wireless mouse.

I too use logitech "Laser Cordless Mouse" that just work fine, you can buy it from Amazon or from any local dealer.

you can find a good deal on eBay if you prefer eBay. I am not sure where else you can find one.

Not overly helpful, but stick with wired!

Failing that, buy a 17" laptop and use it as a desktop replacement.

I have a Microsoft wireless mouse which the daughter bought. Batteries last around 4 weeks which isn't bad, although i use the dearer Duracell ones.
Lithium cells last around 5-6 weeks, but the extra few days don't warrant paying the much dearer price for them.

Just for reference, as with most products that are used heavily and run off batteries, rechargable batteries are a waste of time, they won't last and not up to the job. You would need a docking station like Kev's if you are going to use them i think.

Sarcasm isn't needed in every thread. Anything that was in that thread should stay there rather than you continuing it in other threads.

People will start abusing you and I wont like that. Let them get behind me as I don't mind if it comes at me.

Kevin is trying to support other fellow mate who never did anything good for our forum community.

I'm really very tired of this so I suspect that this will be my last post on this forum.

I'm not trying to support anybody but I'm not staying on a forum where the Administrator can insult you and then delete the thread to hide it from others.

And Dan I would love for my comments to stay in that other post so perhaps you could point out where it is? Actually don't bother.
