Default Australia beat India - Umpires turned the game

Australia beat India by 122 runs to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. All the three Umpires ( Mark Benson (ENG), Steve Bucknor (WI) and Bruce Oxenford (AUS) ) played a major role in this match they helped aussies to equal their own world record of 16 successive victories.

First time I've ever seen umpire asking the players whether the batsmen is out or not out. Pointing signals Benson and then this dumb gave the decision. One wrong decision and everything collapsed. I really felt sorry for the Indians. Umpires gave 4 - 5 decision in aussies favour.

Will BCCI protest against umpiring?

Will ICC take any action ?

Australians are playing mind games with the Indians. Yesterday in the hearing Mike Procter banned harbhajan singh for three test matches without any evidence.

That's really unfair for the cricket, as all on-field rules & regulations are managed by Umpires & if they are giving biased decisions, then CRICKET future is in dark.

Indian Cricket board should appalled for wrong decision of Umpires to ICC.

Harbhajan can play the next match. Racism issue is not sorted yet.

Cricket Australia and ICC had huge setback when England Cricket Board said "blunders hit the spirit of the game" and corrective measures were a must.

Australians are known to be harsh and now they have transformed into Wild Dogs. lets hope they get right message this time.

To me it is totally rediculous!! I believe India would have won two of the tests so far, if it wasn't for the very bad decisions made by the umpires. Right now all India can play for is to draw the series, when it shouldn't be the case, Australia should be the one trying to save the test series. This just puts further pressure on the umpires, to include more tv replays and to introduce more modern technology.

Oh, well, nothing can be done about that now. The fourth test has begun and India are in a good position, having scored more than 400 runs at lunch time, on the second day. I wonder how much more they will get, before Australia get a chance to bat?

500+

Sachin Tendulkar will be honored with "Sir" title very soon. I think he will be the first non-English player to get this title.

Indian skipper and Bhajji managed to lift the total past 500. Century by Sachin Tendulkar and half-centuries by four other batsmens (Virender Shewag, VVS Laxman, Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh). Australia were 62 for no loss at the close of play on the second day.

Dravid and Ganguly both are dropped from the one day squad and the the effect can be seen in the 4th test.

Yes. You are right.

Sachin deserves that title as he has helped in growth of Cricket. Not sure if any other Cricketer will manage to get close to his records in future.
