Default US Postal Service remove Clock from Post Offices

"We want people to focus on postal service and not the clock," said Stephen Seewoester, Dallas spokesman for the U.S. Postal Service. Do you think this will solve the problem?

I don't think that this will solve the problem.Even if they remove all the clocks from the Post offices, what about the clocks that people have with them while they are in the post office.
IMO I think that they should also make a rule along with this move that wrist watches are strictly prohibited in the post office premises.LOL

And also cell phone as it has replaced wrist watch these days, but I think staff will oppose for such restriction.

Is this because people have been complaining about the amount of time they spend in the Post Office? And does this mean that US Post Offices are as slow as UK ones?

Probably by doing this they want to show they are "slow" but not "inefficient".

People working in our post offices work to spend their time and get paid for coming to post office daily. They are not focussed on their work nor they want to give good service to customers.

Things wont change no matter what Government does to improve people. You cannot expect people to change what they have been doing for 20 - 30 years.

Must be hard to get motivated when you spend every day looking at a queue of miserable sods clutching pension books or giros.
