It was good to brush up the history in such a brief way. It’s amazing that Hinduism being the
oldest of religions didn’t spread much out of India and that’s the reason the cultures and
traditions of India are so strong and authentic in its own special ways. No wonder it’s called as ‘God’s Own Country’.

Funny but I thought that Wales was God's own country. Although I suppose it depends which God you're talking about.

And how many religions have come and gone in the last 7000 years? What about the Greco/Roman religions, North and South American indigenous religions, Norse and Indo/European religions etc etc? And I think the 5000BC start date for Hinduism is a bit iffy, modern Hinduism bears little resemblance to the early Vedic religion.

It's great to watch the brief history of world's most well-known religions in 90 seconds.

Yes it was a brief history. And I don't think they are talking about the religion as a tradition but showing periods of inter-religious bloodshed. Wars between the religions.

I’m sorry Sanderson but I’m inclined to say that it’s neither about the inter-religious bloodshed nor the history of
wars of religions. The presentation just shows the span of time each religion has covered till now and which is
still continuing. Simple.

I'm with Chris - the graphic mainly highlights the geographic spread of certain religions over time.

I think this is what they are talking about...

Yea Sanderson you did get the right paragraph from there but I still think the people who made this graphical presentation could have done a better job in explaining what they mentioned in the paragraph.
