Default How P2P Software Punches hole in firewall

How P2P software like skype punches hole in firewall making nightmare to the admin, read the whole technique used by said company. :eek:

Good article - personally I think sys admins get a bit anal about this sort of thing but I suppose that that's their job.

Nice article Paul. Geeks may take it negatively as this will increase their work, while the non geeks will be very happy to know the details of P2P technique.

Yep, it also making the non geek people geek, what seems ridiculous, the users just establish connections and keeping them open for incoming calls and so on "firewalls" are stupidly allowing packets to come back in from any source.
