Default DNS Issues ?

Hello all, My server was upgraded recently so I decided to check for any issues that may of been caused by the migration... while checking most of my websites accounts on my server I find many dns problems as below.....

Different subnets WARNING: Not all of your nameservers are in different subnets

Different autonomous systems WARNING: Single point of failure

What will need to be done to resolve this problem please ?

Thanks
mrix

Hello,
As the IPs are assigned from same IP subnet and NS are pointing to these IPs, you are getting this Warning.
You can use two different SUBNET IPs from the assigned IPs and can point the NS to them. That will help to resolve the issue.

Having spoke to live text support I am told..

you can ignore this warning
as the IP's used to assign for the NS / server are from the same network
/ subnet
This should not cause any problems for the domains

Does this seem correct to you ?

Cheers

Hello,
Absolutely Right !!!
WHUK must be ready with contingency plan to face any point of failures.........
so NO WORRIES, but if you still think there is scope of improvement, you can go and pay more get dedicated IP of different sub net and NS too.....
