EMail smart host

We have a dedicated Linux server with you and want use the email server on this server as a smarthost for our localy hosted exchange 2007 server.

Is this possible? Can anyone give me some idea of configuration because all the authentication options I try on our Exchange system fail. This appers to be when exchange communicates with the SMTP server of our domain no matter what authentication settings i put in

Hello Tim,

As per my knowledge Exchange 2007 server is compatible only with Windows hosting platform, though am not sure if it works on Linux someone having more knowledge may help you.
