Default Additional Bandwidth on Dedicated Server

Does Web Hosting UK offers any option to upgrade the bandwidth limit on the dedicated servers ? I'm not interested in Unmetered bandwidth option, looking for metered bandwidth option.

Hi Mark,

We offer bandwidth upgrade option on both Linux as well Windows Dedicated Servers. By default we offer 2500 GB monthly bandwidth with Core 2 Duo and Dual Core Servers. You can now upgrade the server bandwidth to 5000 GB, 7000 GB or 10,000 GB.

Bandwidth Upgrade Prices are as follows:

5000 GB monthly bandwidth: £50 per month
7000 GB monthly bandwidth: £100 per month
10,000 GB monthly bandwidth: £200 per month

Let me know if you have any more questions related to server bandwidth.

Thanks for the speedy reply James. If I upgrade the dedicated server bandwidth from 2500 GB to 5000 GB. how much bandwidth in total would the dedicated server have?

If you upgrade the dedicated server bandwidth from 2500 GB to 5000 GB then the server would've total 5000 GB monthly bandwidth limit after the upgrade.

The server should remain online throughout the additional 2500GB bandwidth allocation on your server

P.S: Nice to see you back on the forums Mark

The server will not go down for even a second during bandwidth upgrade process because our admins would just upgrade the monthly bandwidth limit of your server.

We do not charge any setup fee for the bandwidth upgrade. Apart from the server cost you just need to pay additional £50 per month for the bandwidth.
