Which One Do You Prefer? Why? Which One Do You Use?

I'm currently using Internet Explorer, it's fast that's the main thing i use it for, security ain't bad even though i know Mozilla Firefox has better security. I like Internet Explorer, and i'm using it!

Compared to firefox, I think IE is terrible for security.

Using IE I've had malicious pop ups and viruses that have got in. Using firefox I've had....nothing.

Hackers know that most uneducated computer users use IE cos that's what the computer arrives with. That makes them easy targets. They don't know anything about updates or pop ups or even firefox. That alone makes FF the much better bet.

i agree, the security on internet explorer, compared to firefox is shit

Well I mainly use FF but I can't say I've ever had a particular problem with IE either, and the security on v7 is supposed to be much improved.

Hackers target IE because it offers the greatest number of possible victims. Personally I think that if FF had anywhere near the number of users as IE then it would attract as many attacks. And remember that FF has to be updated periodically as well.

What I find a bit annoying is that people are far more likely to attack MS for attacks on IE than they are to attack the w*****s and acne-ridden script-kiddies that carry out attacks in the first place.

New Internet Explorer Released , it's better security on it, aswell.. i love it, it's great!
