Default Reliable Payment Service Provider... Credit Cards...

has anyone heard of tri-hub transactions? someone called in and she says that she's from tri-hub and that they are a payment service provider. i surfed in to their web address and the offer is quite tempting. i'm planning to have an online payment in my next site but i'm concerned about my customers that their credit cards might get hacked...

so before i make a deal with them, i would just like to look for testimonials for tri-hub. probably you know this company or you know someone who knows.

thanks a lot!

Virtually nothing about them online so why not use one of the more established payment gateways. Plus these people are based in the Phillipines so how sure are you that you can get some sort of legal redress if everything goes wrong?

Personally I would use someone closer to home or who has registered offices in your country of origin.

np - I know what you mean about the cost but it's probably worth balancing a little extra cost against risk. Google checkout is free until next year if you are in the UK so that might be worth trialling.

It's not an easy decision - we are having the same discussion at work and trying to balance cost against reliability against ease of implementation is causing some heated debates.

If you can withdraw your money from PAYPAL , it's the best way to do so , or if you're in the US or the UK you can choose the GOOGLE CHECKOUT , or you can get something real PRO if you would like to pay , just go for 2CheckOut and good LUCK,

Search the forum , there is a previous post about the same subject and you can find a link to the full list of the most known CC's Processors ,

Have a nice day HAROLD

@kev: it's hard having a business having to choose between both. thanks again

@ouahabix: thanks for the reply... aside from ewallets, i want to give my customers a choice since some might want to put their purchases on installment and it would be convenient for them to transact via credit... i'll check the ones you referred

@ianne: really? yah a bit concerned after readins kev's post so how's the payment? if i'm going to pay and they're in the philippines and i'm here in uk? i do hope they have an account here for my convenience.

not so much an account I woudl be worried about - say something went wrong and you had to take legal action. If they are based in the Phillipines and have no UK registered office you would have to take legal action over there whihc is going to be a lot more difficult and expensive than doing it locally.

And how do you know that they conform to UK/EU data protection standards? We all know these are some of the strictest in the world and you woudl be responsible for the protection of your customers data even if it was held by someone else.

These people may be very good but I think you have to do some serious risk analysis.

That seems marketing hype to me, most of the IPSP providers allow merchants for transactions via virtual terminal and that enable them to manage credit card transactions manually, it is nothing new. When you choose a payment processors go with the reliable and reputed one only.
