Why when i click on the "go to last post" marker on these forums does it show the first page when there are more than one page. Also i notice that when i click on usernames in certain forums nothing happens and it should take me to the users profile page.

Hi acwatts,

There is no such marker for go to the last post on the forums, If you are talking about ">" mark, its to move to the next page and not to the last page, If any of the section is having more than 1 page, it will show you all the page numbers. so you can just click on the last page number and then move on the last page.

And about the users, can you give the name of the user so even i can check out the problem, and reply an appropriate solution to you on that issue too.

If you have any more queries feel free to ask.

When viewing the main forum home page there is a little arrow just before the date, if you put your mouse over that it says "go to last post" but it always takes you to the first page of posts. It should take you to the last page of posts if there is more than one page. ?

Look at the lounge forum on the main page and click the little arrow below Windows 7 by christine. it takes me to the first page even though there are 4 pages of posts. ?

I just tried to check out the thing as told by you, its not even working for me, but instead of clicking on that marker, you can just click on the topic name, which will automatically take you to the last reply of the post.

Yes i notice that there are a few browser issues, the clicking on names to view profile seems to be a intermittent firefox browser issue.
Also in FF and IE8 i get a message editor problem, the extra smilies cause the editor to break in to the side bar making the smilies un usuable.

Here's a screen shot of what i see in Firefox and it's much the same in IE8.

You are facing up that problem because of the resolution you have selected for your screen.

Also check out the screenshot of mine, The browser im using is Firefox. So its not a problem of browser.

The ">" goto last post - works for me on FF. (From what I remember, it used to last unread post, so if there were posts that you hadn't read within the thread, it would take you to them.)

We had the same issue with the editor on smaller resolutions, so just removed the smilies from the side and left the top drop down box. As for the JavaScript that opens the <div> for the user profile, I've had the same issues, as just 2 mins ago in another vb thread, I went to look at a members site, but couldn't get the div to appear by clicking, though just doing it now on your name, it works (intermittent it seems). Though if you click on the persons avatar, it will take you to their profile page.

So that My TV works with My computer I have to set the resolution to suit the TV, this makes the font on websites tiny and difficult for Me to read, so with FF I zoom in and this moves the smileys over the side bar making most unusable, except the first row, but if I re/set the zoom they are fine, after I have to zoom in again.

There's also an issue with the Javascript dropdown menu's when viewing specific forums, for forum tools and search this forum.

I suspect the editing of the navbar template (to remove the navbar/breadcrumb) is at fault.
