Default Wine or water

To all who enjoy a glass of wine.. As Ben Franklin said: In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria.

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstratedthat if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. Coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, Whisky or other lspirits) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember: Water = Poop, Wine = Health

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of sh*t.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information: I'm doing it as a public service .

Doesn't water run down the mountain before they collect it? Even volcanic spring water has to run somewhere before it is collected.
It doesn't concern me though, would prefer to drink water, bottled or not, rather than all these chemically enhanced drinks. Even most of the beers now seem to be chemically enhanced, either to quicken the fermenting process or to prolong life.
Oh well, something's gunna kill ya! might as well be something you enjoy!

Well, I'd imagine that it would contain less bacteria in. But the fact is, that humans have been drinking tap water for YEARS. We havnt had a serious problem of people dropping dead, because they drank tap water. If everyone drank bottled water, then we would be in a bad state - I heard on the radio that it takes somthing like 5 liters of water, and 1 liter of Oil to get one liter of "Mineral Water".

I think i'll stick with the shi*

I'm not exactly a health-fanatic. At school i gave up with P.E when i was in Year 8 and didn't do it for years 9, 10 and 11.

I'm only 10stone since then, i don't put alot of weight on but I'm just too lazy. I must admit though.. i love my water but my mentabalism likes to keep me slim
