Default Dishonesty, I really don't like it!!

What is your biggest pet peeve? For me I would definately say dishonesty tops my list, I like it when people are honest with me, even if it kills me. I really don't like a pretender either, I guess this is apart of dishonesty because pretending to be something that you are not, is definately not being honest. But in truth and in fact we all lie at one point or another but some people just constantly lie about everything, they even lie about things that does not make any sense lying about. I also do not like a thief, I mean the type of theif who works for you and he is very well paid and still he steals from you. The type of theif who waits on you at a street corner or a lane and hold you up at gun point to take away your hard earned money, most of the time you are very much under paid and there he is taking it away from you just like that!

but he has said one thing very well. Those who are paid for a job and they don't justify their Sal should be considered as a Thief

I admire his thinking and you really don't need language as good as Kevin to express your thoughts

Where I am from we speak our own little creole language and to be honest I speak my little creole language better than your English language. You would be totally surprised if you heard us talking and even worst if you saw our creole language in writing you would not understand a single word. My typing skills are not that great either. So please forgive me if i miss spell a word or two.

It is doable in the words of Ronald Reagan, "Trust, but Verify".

That subject is related with pseudoscience, , I don't know how he was, but I find his quote quite relevant and contemporary, however it is my subjective view.

Not sure what you mean Paul but Reagan definitely suffered from senile dementia. As I recall he was famous for talking gibberish. One of the most popular comedy shows of the 80s in the UK featured a sketch called 'The Presidents Brain Is Missing' which featured Ronnie roaming the world in search of his missing brain.

Actually does it make sense - if you trust something or someone why would you verify it? When you trust you are choosing to suspend any disbelief. By verifying something is true you are implying that it may be false. You cannot 'Trust, but verify' - this is an example of Reagan's 'special' way with words.

Well, trust is a firm reliance on the character, integrity, ability, of a person but it can change due to some adverse situation the way the OP is talking, do you've heard these words "breach of trust", if yes the quote is quite obvious IMO.

Of course your trust in someone else can be breached but at the point you decide to verify them you stop trusting them. If you still trusted them you wouldn't need to verify therefore trust but verify cannot make sense - they are opposites, it is like saying love but hate. As soon as you start doing one you have stopped doing the other.

Its true that when you trust someone then you should suspend any sort of disbelief but there is someone inside you who tries to crosscheck most of the times.

It might be limited to me only but I've had some painful Bruises in past which prevent me from trusting any new person so easily.
