Cool - wonder if it's still under warranty?

It may reach earth sooner or later.

Hopefully ozone layer will manage to burn it and if not then protect your heads.

Insurance companies wont consider loss of Camera is space. They have lengthy TOS which they will use to clarify that you lost your camera due to your mistake and we cannot go in space to do the survey.

Actually I used to work for an insurance company and I don't remember anything explicitly excluding losses in space - we would have wanted to see a police report though

As an Insurance agent you would have said that we don't have any clause for losses in space and we cannot pay

Police will charge you more than the cost of Camera to make a report

No I was a nice insurance man - used to work in holiday insurance as well - sometimes easier to pay than to argue.

Would be cool if aliens use it and record videos of themselves, hehe. Then hopefully the camera gets back on earth and we'll get to see it.
