Unable to run Tomcat Server

Hi Guys!!!

I have just installed Tomcat on my machine. Why I'm not able to run my Tomcat offline. Its running when i am Online.

Could anyone help me out ?

Have you try this for runnig Tomcat on a local machine, Use tomcat via "localhost". If that doesn't work try the address of 127.0.0.1.

How was Tomcat installed. How are you starting (or trying to start) Tomcat ?
Are you trying to do this through an IDE like Netbeans or Eclipse ? I mean to say do you start the tomcat, do you use startup.bat file?If you use the Windows Task Manager, can you see Tomcat as a running process?

well, if you are still not able to find any solution doing all this. Please reinstall the Tomcat which would be the best option.
