Default mysqli is it installed / allowed?

Hi,

I am working on a site using the latest Dolphin release and one of the modules (wall i think) requires "mysqli" to be installed to allow it to work properly.

I am getting the following advisory from the relevent page(s) of my site
Quote:
Shindig requires the mysqli extention, see PHP: Mysqli - Manual for more info
So as im not tech minded like you guys i have figured out that this is a PHP script/module (as the link goes to php.net), but want to know if this is allowed on my virtual private server , and how do i install it?

Many thanks
Russell

For Admin - my vps email is 'shopping.uk' @ same as forum account

Hello,

The PHP module 'mysqli' is supported on your vps. If 'mysqli' is not enabled on the vps, it can be simply enabled using '/scripts/easyapache' through SSH or through WHM >> Software >> EasyApache (Apache Update).

Thanks Sam for the info,

I found the check box for it eventually following your WHM route, Just waiting for it to finish rebuilding (or whatever its doing )

On a different subject, as I havent logged into my WHM panal for a while i haden't noticed this before, but i got a pop up message
Quote:
Hostname A Entry Missing!
The server was unable to lookup an an A entry for its hostname (vps12***.webhosting.uk.com). This is generally because the entry was never added. However this could also be the result of your nameserver(s) being down.
(i put the *** in there)

Is this something i need to address urgently, or just something that needs to be updated at some point?

in either case, how do i do this, and where do i get the A record info?

Thank again for your help on the 'mysqli' issue.

Russell

I see the hostname for your server is not yet set. Looks like your primary domain is shop******.com. Please confirm if we can use this domain to set the hostname for your server.
