Thats the only Issue with cPanel, The license files. I've never had an issue with Plesk.

As stated above, post your IP address and it will be sorted asap

All I want to do is move this to here !?

When I create a new account in WHM and enter the cPanel, I have an error :-
Quote:
an error occurred while processing this directive
If I create an ftp connection via the cPanel :-
Quote:
an error occurred while processing this directive
Trying to login via ftp account never works after creating it with the above error.

I don't want to redirect my domain until I have tested the setup on VPS and at the moment, I can't get to stage one.

If you are on WHM, then you would use the transfer option. Ensure both WHM are to the same version and php and mysql is running the same version too.

Main >> Transfers >> Copy an account from another server

Everything - files, settings, database will be brought over automatically.
Just make sure your filewalls are turned off on both VPS to allow the transfer to go smoothly.

Thanks Dan
Tech support are having problems restoring database because of :-

Quote:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '<br />
<b>Fatal error</b>: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in <b>' at line 1
I've edited a few templates that had the problem '<br /> and re-submitted the database but still the problem persists.
Existing forum runs smoothly with no errors, so I don't understand why we're having the problem.
Now at a loss what to do next .. any suggestions welcome !

Presumably they are trying to restore the database from a .sql file? In that case what is an html tag doing in there? I'd suggest having a look at the .sql file to see if there is an error message in there somewhere.

Actually, thinking about it some more, the <br /> is a red herring. That's probably just part of /this/ error message and doesn't relate to the .sql file at all There is an error in the .sql syntax and it's probably right at the beginning. Look at the file and try deleting any commented stuff at the beginning. If it still doesn't work, try pasting the first few lines here.
