Default Soap Xml

Afternoon All

I'm trying to use a SOAP webservice to provide content to my site. The script all works fine on my laptop (XP, PHP5, Apache etc..) but when I use it on site I get a error back. I'm using NUSoap, does Webhosting UK block SOAP XML webservice requests ?

The error is:-

Fatal error: Uncaught SoapFault exception: [WSDL] SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: Couldn't load from 'http://xml.alpharooms.com/affiliate.asmx' in /home/speedyon/public_html/v2/travel/ar.php:26 Stack trace: #0 /home/speedyon/public_html/v2/travel/ar.php(26): SoapClient->SoapClient('http://xml.alph...') #1 {main} thrown in /home/speedyon/public_html/v2/travel/ar.php on line 26

Cheers

Stu

Hi Stu,

Please submit a ticket for our support team as they will need to check logs on the server to figure out problem with SOAP package.

Please include the URL on which you get this error while submitting ticket.

Hi Admin

I've done that, the reply was:-

Hello Stu,

The soap and xml are working fine on server. You can check a test script at http://www.speedyonline.biz/test.php but its seems that it not parsing the .asmx extension properly or its some syntax error.
Also, the server is running with PHP 5.2.2 and you will find the version of xml and soap at http://91.186.0.9/phpinfo.php
This might help you to get it corrected.

I've check on another web site and it works fine (not Webhosting UK), and it works on my laptop.

Cheers

Stu

Hi, don't know much about soap but i thought the idea behind it was http requests and xml, so shouldn't imagine it could be blocked. Would have thought config error.
Know it doesn't help you much but I would concentrate on that area.
