Default Reseller Hosting Help

Whilst I appreciate that web hosting uk knows what they mean, today I find that I am a little frustrated at getting questions answered.

I realise that the support thinks everything is simple, but in trying to establish some issues and how to resolve them today, I find myself some what frustrated.

I appreciate that you think we all are 25 years old, male and can hear so well, with an IQ of 300, but I was begining today to think we are on different planets.

I was trying to find out how shared SSL works for your servers (I now know) but for you to explain seemed difficult. I tried by explaining how I had done it so far, but you couldn't tell me anything but you can view the website through SSL. If you had said place your orders in a folder, make that folder have htaccess username and password and just build a panel to show orders to your customers.

Anyhow, I think what I am asking for is more added to the knowledge base to explain for thickos like me and examples of base paths for scripts, not just perl paths etc

it seems that the technical person on our end was not able to make out what sort of shared SSL you had earlier. Plesk / HSphere / Helm control panel have got different type of Shared SSL where you need to put secure content in one directory. On cpanel servers you dont need to put secure content in separate directory as everything thats there in your account can be accessed with https://server.hostname.com/~username/

I will add a knowledgebase article to avoid any such inconvenience in future for any other customer.
