Default Spam filter on Horde (Plesk)

Hello.

I have a couple of mailboxes on my plesk and I am about to start using one of them quite seriously so I need to establish some spam filtering as even without advertising it I seem to be getting about 10 emails a day...

When I try to set a filter the page tells me that filtering is disabled on this mailbox... That's fine, but how do I switch it on?

Thanks in advance.
Tom.

Did I post this in the wrong section or is it just that nobody knows?

I personally do not use Plesk but i was able to find this out

Click the Mail icon at the Domain administration page. The Mail Names page appears.
Click on the mail name you wish to edit. This takes you to the Mail Name Properties page
To edit mailbox quota and enable spam filtering, click Mailbox.
To manage personal spam filtering settings, click Spam Filter.

i hope that helps

Apologies from me as well - it would have been courteous to have replied even though I know sfa about Plesk.

here's what one of our windows system admin has to say on this post

Quote:
if the Spam filter management is enabled under the client control panel then he can set it under his domain control panel for mail box, following there are detailed steps to enable Spam filter management

Login to Client control panel >> Click on "permissions" Icon and select the check box "Spam filter management" to enable it. power pack license is needed on server.
if you need any further information then you need to open a ticket from our helpdesk located at http://support.webhosting.uk.com
