FTP timing out?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but this was the best place I could find to post.

I've recently started hosting with you guys and i'm having issues uploading files. I'm using CuteFTP Pro 7 and whenever I try and upload a lot of files the session times out.

Its fine if you are only uploading single or a few files tho. I've tried increasing the timeout setting to 60 seconds but this has not helped at all.

ERROR:> Timeout (60000 ms) occurred on receiving server response.

The error message I always seem to get is this one:

ERROR:> The connection failed due to an error or timeout.

And from time to time I get this:

ERROR:> PASV failed, trying PORT.

It then carries on in PORT mode and then fails and times out. Also the file detection is set to auto as standard. I'm almost 100% sure its not a firewall issue as i've been running cute off the system for months with no issues.

Any help given would be greatly appreciated.

Replys will be slow as i'm about to go to work tho.

You should switch to WS_FTP Pro as WS FTP reconnects automatically if the session is closed by the server for any reason so you don't need to reconnect again nor you need to interfere while you upload.

There's absolutely no problems with 87.117.236.214 ( server hosting your website ) and the only option would be switching to WS FTP Pro or browser based FTP.
