The 'i' domain names

Most Apple products' names start with the letter 'i', and people especially domain owners seem to take advantage of that by registering new domain names starting with the same letter. What do you think about that.

I think that is a good idea. It gives a registrant more options especially if the domain name he wants to register is taken already. I don't have any 'i' domain yet though.

If it is a requirement to start a domain name with an 'i' and if it is appropriate, it is alright. Otherwise there is no need to take the advantage of the Apple name. If it is your product, it is unique and distinct from the apple products. Therefore any domain name can be used as long as the products/services offered are strong.

There is nothing wrong with using the letter to start your domain name with, but Alicia has a good point here. Your website (or product) is unique, keep it as it is.
