Dropped PR Domains with backlinks, Are they worth investing in to ?

I have always heard that dropped domains are not worth anything but recently I came across few dropped domains with PR2 and 3. Most of em don't have many backlinks but one domain with PR2 has over 2500 backlinks. what i am wondering is if that is something that can be used to any advantages ? any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Yes there could be some advantage as well as disadvantages . you just have to keep that domain must be kept alive bec it should not be seen as there are multiple ways where you can make the necessary changes with the backlink too . IF you are getting a domain with backlink you will benfit with the amount of traffic you are going to get for that perticular domain which are having good amount of backlinks
