What's the importance of using ccTLD in SEO and also in branding. Seems it's an added advantage for maintaining Brandname and reduce the risk of competition, True ?

The risk is reduced as the targeted market is reduced too. You are only targeting a specific country with these domain names. Hence, you do not have international competitors. Yes, it can also help in maintaining your brand
