Its bit difficult to find a good domain with high traffic becoz already there are plenty of registered domains available, a optional method you can try which is go with the old domains or premium domains names which are there online with there visibility with in the search engines .

Usually webmaster trade their domain sales through forums where they display all required domain details like, domain name, ownership, registration, price, backlinks details etc...
Few places where you can get attractive domain name deals

DNForum is also useful for selling / buying domains.

You can also sell/buy domains at Flippa, though it is well-known for selling/buying websites. You can get cheap domains depending on the bids by other users

A new domain would not get as much value as an already existing one. For that you have to adopt online marketing strategies. The domain will acquire value only when there is traffic coming to your website.

Domain parking websites are the best ones for this purpose. You may not find them for cheap price but you can always negotiate with the owner and get a deal.

I am wondering how can a domain that receives a high traffic be offered to you in a cheap rate? But you can always search the webhosting forums, there are a lot of people who buy and sell their domain names there. You could grab some good domain names at reasonable price.

He definitely won't get a very good domain with high traffic for a cheap price as the seller would be looking forward to the best possible deal he can get. However, it is possible that he can get a good deal for a domain as there are some of the domain owners decide to discontinue the website due to some or the other reason and sell off the domain.

The best deal would be to find domain names that are old and having high authority and relevant backlinks which is included with highly searched keywords. Quality backlinks and relevant traffic is what that makes a domain worth buying.

You can perform your own research about the domain names that5 you shortlist and then you can make the final choice depending on the traffic coming to that domain name and the backlink count.
