Is it possible for a domain to have PR3 rank but no rank in alexa?

hi...
i have a few domains which i found on internet which are expired.
They have PR3 but no rank in alexa...
So is it profitable to re-register such domains and then will i be able to say sell it for atleast double the price i pay for the registration?

If you are successful in getting a domain name registered, then I don't think you should be having any problem in reselling it at any cost, provided you get a buyer willing to pay that amount.

Keep in mind that alexa bases there page rank over the past 3 months or so. If the site is expired or, nothing is going on with it for 3 months, then it won't have a rank, or a good one with alexa.

Yeah, Alexa gives more real time information which means it is a little more correct. If those domains are not active then they aren't going to do anything. So I do not think I would worry. If they can get a good page rank then they can get a good Alexa rating.
