Default How do you find the right domain name?

Domain names are the most crucial asset of your websites. Good domain names are out there in the internet market but many of them have been purchased already. When I go about finding a domain name for a websites, should go through some proper ways to search for that specific theme your website you planing for . I start search by considering what is the theme or the nature of the web site which i am going to host and I am trying to launch. Is it a local site? Ideally, the name of your forum will "tell it all." First we should check What your site is all about and the flavor of the web site you are going to create. But what you are gonna do when all the good names are taken by others ?

1. ideas flowing or think out of the box . you must think of what your name of your website ideally would be and then look up synonyms. If you are good in visual thinking then this great tool is very usefull for you : Thinkmap Visual Thesaurus - It is an online thesaurus and dictionary of over 125,000 words that you explore using an interactive map. You can also use a traditional thesaurus to assist you.

2. Once you have some words to build that concrete word for you website then at that moment, you must go to a site like: Search Tool for domain name or Help Me to find a Domain Name , To get an idea of Available Domains - Buy Web Domains, Domain Names Registration which provide tools to help you to find domains that are very similar to what you are looking for.

3. Ad Words: It is sometimes hard to guess what related word searches people are doing on Google. This tool will help you to figure that out: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Some people are only aware by only getting the .com. Some say that .net will work as well. Personally, I think that if you can afford it you should try to buy the .com, .net. and .org. In the long run it will be worth it and people will be less confused about who you are and who that other .net guy is.

Default Visual, that is me

I have the worst time trying to figure out what a good domain name is. I am a very visual learner so word mapping is the best way for me to try to figure that out. Then when I get a word to check it in and SEO tool to see how it compares.

Default Adwords Google tool

I think the adwords Google tool is maybe one of the most helpful tools when deciding on a domain name. Not only can you see how many people searched it, but what your possible competition level might be.
