IMO, GoDaddy is one of the best registrar, they accept credit/debit card and PayPal the most preferred payment option.

I don't think that one should use E-Gold for purchasing domains. If your domain is important for you then it should be purchased by a reputed web hosting company or registrar.

There are some countries that don't accept paypal or that cannot use paypal so they try to use e-gold as their currency on the web. but e-gold is also being used on poker sites or casinos and gambling cause these things aren't allowed in paypal.

I've tried their service and it's kinda awsome man, I've got a .org domain name just for $1.39 and a domain forwarding and DNS service manager just for $0.15 each .

I thought it was scam because of the prices but it seems not , a simple note is their hosting plans ain't good as the registrar's.

Anyway if you a CC or a PAYPAL account just stick with www.webhosting.uk.com , I've experienced some but never find a support like in here even that I have a domain for FREE .

I got several domain names from Registerfly in the past using egold as payment. I have had no problem as of this time even if Registerfly is on the brink of extinction in the domain name industry.

I paid them many times for renewal of some SSL certificates we had with them couple of years ago but they kept that payment and never sent SSL certs. We also had some balance in our account with them but suddenly the account was banned.

Probably they loved eGold payment only and had no respect for customers paying by card / paypal.

They didn't follow ICANN terms and conditions. You get domains for low cost if you go through ICANN directly but you need to take care of monthly documentation needed by them. They also send their team for visit to check things on your end and ICANN team was quite upset with the way registerfly was managing domains.
