Unused domain names

I hate it when someone register a good domain name without intention to use the domain for a live website. He just parks it and renews it every year, expecting someone is willing to purchase it at a high price. It's not illegal but annoying.

Yeah, but unfortunately can't help it
In internet world such activity is called as 'Cybersquatting' (also known as domain squatting)
You can contact ICANN the nonprofit organization that oversees the domain name registration system, has also promulgated rules governing domain name disputes.
