Pointing a domain at an external site

Having a bit of a nightmare at the minute with this....

I had a hosting account with webhostinguk which I cancelled yesterday as my site is now hosted on my own server.

I also have a domain name managed by webhosting uk which I had pointed to my server from the control panel. which had been working fine for weeks.

When the hosting account got cancelled the domain name stopped working (I wasn't advised by billing dept that this would happen despite describing the situation).

I have been advised I can manage my domain name from my account but all it will let me do is change the nameserver addresses.....

anyone have anyideas??

HI, yes you need to change the nameservers to your new server nameservers.
That is how it works everywhere.

You must have set up nameservers on your server, all you need to do then is goto your domain control panel with webhostinguk and point your domain to these nameservers
