In my opinion from SEO point of view ukblahblah.com will be the best option .because it will get best seo results not only in UK infact you will get better worlwide SEO ranking. but if your business is confined to uk itself then you should go for blahblahuk.co.uk

Well, it actually depends on the kind of keywords you have, however, when the format is taken into consideration, ukblahblah.com is the best option. Also, as it has a .com domain, it would be better as it is the best Domain TLD available

Good morning,
None of them!
They are all very difficult to remember, so unless you friend has a lot of financial muscle and status someone will set up similar but easier to remember names and fill them will advertising links and ruin the reputation of his site.
There is and has been for a long time now, a site with the same name as Microsoft's with just the o and r swapped round, as a user it is obviously not the site that you intended to go to because you know what Microsoft should look like.
Google, Yahoo, Lycos mean nothing but are easy to remember as they are short words that confirm to normal spelling patters. There is AskJeeves as a search engine, which I usually spell incorrectly with an a in Jeeves.
The names are also demeaning to the site, they suggest trivia and the people who use the site to be petty minded. Look at "www.blahdblah.com", "www.blahblahtech.com" or "www.blahblah.co.uk" (a place holder site)
Without referring to the original post, I wonder how many of the readers could enter the suggested names correctly, now, just after seeing them. If I type in the name for this site I usually type "www.WebHostingUk.com" and if I didn't know what I intended to see, I would assume that I am "here"
I would also be slightly concerned that blah would become a non word in the search engines in the same way as "the" and "and" are, needing to be quoted to be used.
Bye
Ian

Finding a desired domain name with little variation in .co.uk or .uk.com is not that much difficult, you should try out using few domain suggestion tools to get some idea about the available domain name.

I think selection of domain would also depend on what the "blah" in real is?
Also, while searching for a keyword, it is almost seen that people refer to the location at the end only.... like a person searching for hosting in the UK, would usually enter a keyword "web hosting uk" or "web hosting in uk". I guess comparatively, very few will enter a keyword as "uk web hosting". What you say?

I agree with Sanersone,
Matt123, Also let us know the business and the company name of your friend for which your are looking a domain name. So based on the business type and the company name, we can suggest you a better domain name
