Hey guys,
Sorry to bother you all. I have a simple question on nameservers and DNS. I thought this would be simple but I'm having trouble! If someon could clarify to me whats going on, I'd appreciate it heaps.
I bought two domain names from godaddy a couple of days ago and then chose webhosting.uk.com as my
web hosting provider.
I went to the godaddy admin screen, and there I entered the two name servers I received in my welcome e-mail.
Entering either of the nameservers into firefox results in a nice Apache2 "It works!". So far so good. Then, I enter the my domain name. No good - looks like a DNS error (btw, I waited a while).
Having done a few searches and looks around this forum, I've seen people say that I have to add the domain to my cPanel. This is where I get lost:
I don't have cPanel and can't find which files I would have to edit. Do I have to run BIND or something on my webserver?
In the godaddy admin screen, I was able to just specify the ip for the A name record - which worked - should I just do that? whats the difference?
Also, I have (only now

) realised that cPanel may be worth the extra money but can't figure out how to add it. In the "add products and services" screen I can only add "
cPanel shared hosting"...
Any help greatly appreciated!
