The prices of .com and .net the common suffixes set To Rise In October, the .com" names will go up 7 percent to $6.86 and the ".net" fee will increase 10 percent to $4.23.

I think it's good to get registration for more years rather than paying for high price for renewal each year.

hehe. I already got some of our domains renewed for long term few months back. 7 - 10% rise is not huge but there are many advantages of getting your important domains renewed for many years.

Yea that's good idea especially to save cost when you've many domain names also there are no chance to loose a valuable domain name if registered for many years.

thats right. You won't loose your domain name and people won't start submitting back order for your domains. If you forget to renew your domain name and come back from vacation to see it in redemption period then its quite difficult to get it back.
