Finding a domain name owner

Grrrr Why is it so flippin hard to find out who owns a domain name?

I'm trying to find who has the .com of my main sites .co.uk address. It's currently (and has been for the last 3 years) just one of those holding search engine type pages.

With whois I can find the name of the registration company but they won't tell me who owns it.

Trying other searches gets me an email address of info @ whoisarmor.com but they don't reply to my emails and look like just another whois search site.

Any other lines of enquiry I can try?

I don't see the point of owning a site name, especially one that's doing nothing, if no one can easily contact you about buying it.

If you're talking about dentalcentral.com, it is owned by NameAdministration.com, they acquire many good domain names and use domains for paid search through parking, you can try out to contact them through the email address as shown in whois search for said domain name.

No I'm not. I have a another site I don't link on here.

Hopefully then that domain name might be protected one, it is not easy to find who own it especially those which are protected for privacy, I hope.

By using the whois info you can get the details of the domain name.

It looks like the user is using a whois protect on their domain name. Try asking the domain registrar and see if they are ready to sell the domain name. or atleast provide contact information for this person.

Chances are less that the domain registrar will provide you information about a whois protected domain name. If it was registered by a hosting company you might find some information for the owner. May be you can ask them to contact owner if they are not willing to give you their contact details
