Default Hyphenated domain vs non-hyphenated domains

Is it better to have dashes or no dashes in a domain name? What is better for search engines?

A dash in a domain won't make a whole lot of difference from the SEO point of view. It's not worthwhile to pick a hyphenated domain simply because of assumed SEO benefits. The best way would be to pick an unhyphenated name for the purpose of proper branding.
