Hosts without a stable site?

There are lots of new hosts every day. The last time I see more and more hosts who just post on forums with awesome deals, but they don't have their own site.
I know some of them can be really good, but I don't have experience with any of them.
Does anyone know if 'no-site-hosts' stay alive long and if they are reliable?

I haven't got any personal experience of this but it doesn't sound good does it? If they can't be arsed/can't afford/ or don't have the know-how to stick a basic site together then I probably wouldn't want to rely on them.

Before choosing a web hosting company one should go through following verfication :-

1. Check Alexa Ranking of the hosting company. You should see that the hosting company has decent traffic or else they wont survive in the longer run.
2. Google Page Rank. Google page rank has to be there for the website or else the webiste is new and completely unreliable till they start getting decent traffic and page rank of minimum 2.
3. Availability of Support. 24x7 support is most important in web hosting coz if your webhost is sleeping at 4 AM in the morning then its a open invitation for spammers and others to start their activities from one of the server where they manage to signup and make a account. Servers may go down for other reasons as well.
4. Check response time of Sales department as poor response from Sales is first thing that would result in failure of the company.

Never ever rely on the online reviews of hosting companies as those are paid posts in most of the cases and most of the review sites demand payment from hosting companies.
