Default Purchasing a domain name and web hosting package together or not
When you purchase a website do you buy domain name from the company providing you webspace? Or do you go to different place?

I would prefer to buy a domain from a domain registrar.

It is better to buy the domain name from the registrar as you have better control over your domain name especially when you are shifting to another web host.

Paul I agree with you but I think if we purchase hosting from a reputed and reliable company then there is no harm to get a domain name from the same company.
