Banned domain having PR

I had come across a domain name having good PR but later I noticed that the domain is banned. How come a banned domain having PR, Is it possible or Is there anything wrong with google? Sorry I don't remember the domain name otherwise I'd have mentioned it.

I don't think a banned domain can have a PageRank. Either the domain is not banned or it has been banned very recently.

If you're a spammer you're not going to care about getting banned unless it's pretty much immediate. You just throw together another site and you're up and running again.

It's just that if u gotta site which u know is not gonna b permanent on the net,,one will practice all the wrong ways to

get the site optimised to get it on the top search level,,but there are also people who apply these tricks unknowingly

and get their sites banned by google accidentally,which just keeps them wondering that how the hell did it happen??
