Default Buying old domain names

DO you advice to go for old domains or new one? I think its difficult to find new good domain names now, and old domains are costly , do you still advice to go for old domains?

If you have a nice competitive budget then I'd recommend you to opt for old domains. As in SEO age of domain is one of the important factor and it prevents the domain from the google sandbox.

Tapping expired domain names or abandoned domain names is better than acquiring a new one. This is true for those expired domain names with traffic in tow. For a new one, you have to spend time and resources in order to generate traffic for your site.

Is it possible to see the list of expired domains anywhere? I would like to purchase expired domains too.
