I can pronounce the Welsh one Although the village is now called Llanfair PG which is a bit easier to say.

most of the browsers are not willing to accept this domain name as a URL. I am not sure how this domain name has been discussed so much but it seems to be a part of discussion everywhere.

Kev , how the Welsh one can be pronounced , I saved the post this early morning and since then I tried to say it time to time but it seems like impossible , http://www.llanfairpwllgwyngyllgoger...iogogogoch.com!!!

So I suppose that's another language than English

If so , I wanna know how much it is used globally and where can I study it (I like Encryption-Decryption)

khgbntiftouyspofkg , sorry I mean beautiful language in my WELSH ...

Well it's nice of you to take an interest.

Only about 1 in 5 people in Wales speak Welsh but numbers are rising as it is now taught as a compulsory subject in all Welsh schools. It doesn't have much of a reach globally so you might find it a bit of struggle if you want to learn it.

Some of the letter sounds are quite difficult to write (particularly Ll which is a single letter in Welsh) but a crude phonetic version of Llanfair PG would probably be:

thlanvyre poothgooingithh goggerrich oourindrobooth thlan-tea-silly-o go-go-goch

That is really crude but it's roughly right. Interestingly the village wasn't originally called Llanfairpwyll..... but changed its name in Victorian times as a tourist stunt.

Praises be to almighty GOD who created all these languages and accents .

You know ,I love these langs and accents because I feel that's how ancients people were speaking and I feel that the humans' roots are still fingerprinted along with the centuries , I'm just a fan of strange and foreign languages , I like most the HANGUL (KOREAN) and MANDARIN (CHINESE) because I realy feel weird pronouncing words in those latters and stay astonished watching a chinese movie subtitled with english and wondering how could a 5 years old boy can understand such a language ...!!!!!

Life's beautiful man

My son had to learn Welsh when we lived in Wales. he was fairly fluent as a child. he has forgot most of it now though unfortunately.
Afraid only phrases i remember is bacon butty (brechden??), which i ate every day, and something that was said to me quite frequently (sorry for the spelling) caead dy ceg, which translates 'shut up', 'shut your mouth'.
Still have many good friends in Wales. Great place to live. Miss it dearly.

My nephews attend a Welsh-medium school and have broadened my knowledge of Welsh swear words considerably. I'm glad you enjoyed it here Jon - you know how ridiculously proud us Taffs are about the old place so it's always nice to here nice things said about it.

To Paul - if you're on about the Llanfair one mate its the name of the village.

I visited Llanfair PG with some house mates a week ago while we're on holiday in North Wales. Not really much there.

The station sign has a nice phonetic version underneath to help with pronounceation.

Definitely more accomplished than my effort.

Nice picture mate - with that many of you, you must have doubled the population of Llanfair PG.
