What do you look for in damains?

When you are about to register a domain name what do you look for? What do you first think of? What you do if you find otu that the domain name that you wanted is taken? How do you go about choosing a diferent name?

Well for me when I choose a domain name I try to choose a domain name that means smething or is related in some way to what I'm going to use the domain name for. If the domain name that I thought of is already taken then I would think hard and try my very best to get something as close to what I wanted as possible.
