Default Use of .info Domain

What you guys think of .info domain? Are they any good?

I think .info is good for only personal pages and non commercial websites.

I personally think if you get a very good keyword .info then it's worth keeping for reselling purposes later. If that's not the case then buy a .info only if you wish to develop it into a relevant informative site.

Ya .info are pretty famouse now they have the stand to reach for .com and .net and .org alot of .info are taken already even the 3 char that is high price are taken but i wonder its so famouse why is it still so cheap am not going against anything i do want it to stay cheap is the price going to change or it will stay like that?

Well the internet is about information, and so as .info suggest better for "information" hence any one find it easy to find and that make it so popular.

I think one should opt for a .info only when other major TLDs are already registered or if your site is about providing information about something.

the .info domains are pretty good, pretty cheap. Great for personal use..

I agree, .infos are so cheap nowadays, some registrars are offering them for only $2. So there is no harm in registering if you get a good name which you can use for your personal or commercial site in future.
