Parking Domain Name Alternative

I think instead of parking unused domain name, it is better to create generic templates as per the subject description with keywords and get adsense, do you think this can bring more revenue than parking domain name? I need your sincere idea.

For generating revenue your domainname should be keyword rich and it should be capable of getting good traffic. You have to make it active by applying all SEO tactic.

Thanks harry! This idea came to my mind when I found my registrar is earning through ad on my unused domain name and I am getting nothing.
